20.04.2007. -Voluntary fire station in Bajna Basta is intensively preparing for St. George's Day, which is traditionally at dawn, and also for taking over two fully equipped fire trucks, which are being donated from Scotland.

In this connection, on April 16, 2007, representatives of the Voluntary fire station and municipality of Bajna Basta met with Mr. Phil Shorthouse, initiator of the donation, and Mr. Finlay Mackenzie, Senior Logistics Co-ordinator.

Formal taking over of the donation is planned on St. George's Day, who is patron of the Voluntary fire station, and a week later, colleagues from Scotland with their director Mr. Gary Bennett will perform a training program in order to show our firemen how to operate with the donated equipment.
